Rescuing a product that wouldn't encapsulate
The eye-health tablet shipped in June 2024
At a glance
- Tablet and capsules
- TGA-listed medicines
- A format rescue, then a range
The brand
An established Sydney natural health company with a multi-product range and export customers.
The challenge
An eye-health formula kept failing in encapsulation because the ingredient mix was too wet, and hand-filling would have added one to two more months.
What we built
We moved the formula to a direct-compression tablet, got samples approved, and designed the stability protocol needed to support a three-year expiry. Across the relationship we developed and quoted nine products for the brand, spanning eye health, omega-3s, probiotics, liver, immune, prostate and more, and took three into production.
Manufacturing and delivery
We managed every production run through to delivery, including the change of format mid-project.
The result
- The eye-health tablet shipped in June 2024
- A fish oil and a krill oil capsule also in production, with the fish oil reordered
